or you lead?

They say that I’m on a roll; Maybe I just lost control song continuously cycles in my thought-bursting head while I involuntarily follow the road that’s meeting my eye. Sharp wondering strikes my mind, on whether I’m leading my road that’s behind me or following the road that’s in front of me like a sheep following grass plain.

During numerous cycling years, I learned a lot: ten times more than school. Dedication, persistence, decisiveness and optimism, top traits for a human being, you name it. I don’t care these sadly, I know in my deep down, learning to “lead the road”, was the highlight that I’ll mention in my article-corner. Leading the road simply means knowing where’re you’re headed and going, whether that’s worth for you or someone else!

We work the jobs that we hate, to buy things we don’t need, to impress people we don’t like

In life, owing to various reasons: guilt, comfort, ignorance; we lose many opportunities, along it, we lose ourselves. For the sake of someone else, you leave the thing you’re passionate about? To not feel guild and make someone not sad, you do differently that’s not yourself. These simple things that we do every now and then, makes you lose the steering wheel of your life-bike. You get distracted and confused. In the end, you realize you’d been following someone’s road for a long time, and it now is late to back.

Life’s like road, at least I like to think that way. You have starting point, sooner or later, you’ll be on the finish line. What matter is what you did and said, how you impacted and felt, and what stays after your finish line.

It would be bad:

  1. To change your destination because of other cycler: you know your road, you already leading and building that for years. There’s no one who recognize yours better, than only you. This especially happens during major turn-up moments in life: career choice, future plans, life-altering changes. Everybody else wants you to be safe and choose the most viable one they think. Well, if you believe in yourself, no one stop you, even it is the Moon you wanted to go.
  2. To drive slow throughout your whole road: sometimes, as natural and expected, we all want to feel safe and cared. We love living predictable life, knowing what’s gonna happen tomorrow, next week, month, even years. We gets too bound to comfort, and it really can be a huge harm to you. As you’re reading this and thinking you’re not improving lately as much as you used to. Ask yourself: what am I afraid of? which thing scares me to hide in comfort?

At last, be hopeful and optimistic. You got it.
